Mariah Tyler Moore Founder and Editor
Mariah Tyler Moore is a journalist, author, and Sanpete County resident who has been writing about this community since she was twelve years old. She covered local government, water rights, and community news as a staff writer at the Sanpete Messenger, and she has been embedded in the Sanpete Cares Coalition network long enough to understand exactly how much vital information never makes it past the room where it was shared.
Sanpete Serves exists because of that gap. Mariah knows what it looks like when families can’t find help that’s actually available to them, and she knows what it costs a community when government decisions happen in public but land in private. This publication is her answer to both.
She lives with chronic illness, which sharpened rather than softened her conviction that access to information is not optional. She operates under Radical Resilience LLC and writes under the belief that the community’s business belongs to everyone in it.
